Our Story
GROOT started 7,000 kilometres away, in the laneways of Melbourne. That's where TK and Bella spent ten years learning the rhythm of a great café: the flat white poured just right, eggs benny on a Saturday morning, and a room where nobody rushes you out.
Chiang Mai is home. GROOT is both of those things planted in one place: sourdough baked every morning, coffee roasted here, eggs from farms down the road, everything cooked in the open kitchen behind the glass. Pull up a chair. Stay a while.
